Haul Truck Driver

Haul Truck Driver

Job description:

Join a dirt crew that keeps projects moving.
iHawl is one of the fastest-growing sitework subcontractors in Northwest Arkansas, self-performing mass grading, complete sitework, and utilities for top GCs and developers. We’re hiring a Haul Truck Driver to move dirt, rock, and materials safely and efficiently across our job sites.

This role is for drivers who understand production, site awareness, and teamwork — not just driving from point A to point B.

Responsibilities

  • Operate off-road or on-road haul trucks to transport dirt, rock, and materials.
  • Safely load, haul, and dump materials per site direction.
  • Communicate effectively with Operators, Foremen, and Spotters.
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
  • Maintain clean, safe haul routes and follow traffic plans.
  • Adhere to all site safety rules, OSHA requirements, and company standards.
  • Assist with light labor or site support as needed between loads.

Requirements

  • 1–3+ years of haul truck or dump truck experience (construction or sitework preferred).
  • Valid driver’s license required; CDL A or B preferred (depending on truck).
  • Ability to work in active construction zones and uneven terrain.
  • Strong situational awareness and commitment to safety.
  • OSHA 10 preferred.
  • Reliable attendance and team-first attitude.

Why iHawl

  • Steady, local work in Northwest Arkansas.
  • Consistent hours with overtime opportunities.
  • Well-maintained equipment and clear direction.
  • Competitive pay with room to grow into equipment operation.
  • Respectful, production-driven team culture.
